Job summary

Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Field Technician III to lead field crews, perform advanced testing on high-, medium-, and low-voltage equipment, and support commissioning teams across North America. This role emphasizes safety, technical leadership, and hands-on problem solving in demanding environments.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of electrical industry experience, NETA III certification, and the ability to travel and work overtime.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Criminal background check completed satisfactorily.
• Able to travel out of town and work overtime as required.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead field crews in testing, inspection, and maintenance of high-, medium-, and low-voltage equipment.
• Perform advanced testing and diagnostics on breakers, transformers, instrument transformers, grounding, batteries, and switchgear.
• Troubleshoot complex electrical/control system issues from schematics and diagrams.
• Mentor and train junior technicians and coordinate daily field activities with engineers and project managers.

Education

Bachelors or Associates Degree in Electrical /Electronic technology

5+ Years Relevant Industry Experience
