Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative for the U.S. ASCO Services team. This home-based role focuses on coaching peers, managing key accounts, and delivering expert technical support from installation to start-up across diverse sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ work experience as a shop or field electrical technician.
• Strong leadership skills among peers.
• Knowledge of ANSI IEEE C37 standards for breakers and switchgear.
• Experience with distribution protective relay testing and hi-pot testing.
• Ability to write reports and project summaries.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Field Service Reps to give technical advice and support.
• Manage several customer key accounts.
• Perform service work per standard procedures and adapt when needed.
• Provide pre/post sales technical support including commissioning and testing.
• Propose upgrades and innovative solutions for complex problems.
• Evaluate products and gear upgrades to meet customer needs.
• Monitor and resolve recurring complex problems for customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues arising during start-up.
• Generate leads for service and train customers on features.
