Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to join our ASCO Services team in the U.S. This home-based role supports customers by coaching field reps, managing key accounts, and providing pre/post-sales technical support, including commissioning and startup.

You will share leadership responsibilities with the Services Manager and mentor others in the district. We offer extensive training, a comprehensive Total Rewards package, and a pay range reflecting U.S.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ work experience as a shop or field electrical technician with a minimum two-year degree or technical certification in an electrical related program preferred.
• Exhibited leadership skills among peer group(s).
• Demonstrated knowledge of advanced electrical industry manufacturing standards, including ANSI IEEE C37 sections for breakers and switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor other Field Service Reps to provide technical advice and support, check work quality and diagnose problems.
• Manage several customer key accounts.
• Provide pre- and post-sales technical support including commissioning, installing, testing, and maintaining products and systems.
• Develop solutions to complex technical problems that arise during start-up.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend product upgrades to meet customer needs.
• Monitor and resolve recurring complex problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot, investigate, and resolve problems during start-up.
• Produce leads for Service support and train customers on equipment features.
