Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative to support the ASCO Services team in the U.S. This role emphasizes coaching, mentoring, and leadership in customer interactions across districts, with a home-based schedule and a 40-hour baseline plus overtime.

You will manage key accounts, provide technical support during start-up, and drive solutions for complex problems while staying aligned with Schneider Electric standards and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills to mentor and support field team members.
• Customer engagement skills to support key interactions with customers.
• 7+ years’ work experience as a shop or field electrical technician with a two-year degree or technical certification.
• Demonstrated leadership among peers.
• Knowledge of ANSI/IEEE C37 standards for design and manufacture of breakers and switchgear.
• Experience with distribution protective relay testing, hi-pot testing, and breaker function testing.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Field Service Reps to provide technical advice and diagnose problems.
• Manage several customer key accounts.
• Perform service or support work per standard procedures and adapt as needed.
• Provide pre/post-sales technical support including commissioning, installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems during start-up.
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades.
