Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Lead Field Service Representative for its ASCO Services team in a home-based role in the U.S. The position focuses on coaching Field Service Reps, supporting key customer accounts, and delivering technical start-up and maintenance services across diverse environments.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years of electrical technician experience, a two-year degree or technical cert, and knowledge of ANSI/IEEE C37 standards.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills to mentor and support field staff.
• Customer engagement abilities for key interactions with customers.
• 7+ years as a shop or field electrical technician with a two-year degree or technical cert.
• Experience with ANSI/IEEE C37 standards related to breakers and switchgear.
• Knowledge of basic distribution protective relay testing, hi-pot testing, and breaker function testing.
• Strong report and project summary writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor Field Service Reps to provide technical advice and diagnose problems.
• Manage several customer key accounts.
• Perform service or support work per procedures and beyond when needed.
• Provide pre/post sales technical support including commissioning, installation, testing, and maintenance.
• Develop solutions for complex technical problems during start-up.
• Evaluate and recommend new products or equipment upgrades.
