Job summary

Schneider Electric's ASCO Services team is seeking an experienced Lead Field Service Representative in the U.S. This home-based role supports customers, plays a leadership role with field reps, and collaborates with the Services Manager to ensure high-quality service during start-up and maintenance.

You will coach peers, manage key accounts, provide pre/post sales technical support, and help select upgrades.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a shop or field electrical technician.
• Minimum two-year degree or technical certification in electrical program.
• Proven leadership skills among peers.
• Knowledge of ANSI/IEEE C37 standards in breakers and switchgear.
• Experience with protective relay testing, hi-pot testing, and breaker testing.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor other Field Service Reps to provide technical advice.
• Manage several customer key accounts.
• Perform service or support work per standard procedures.
• Provide pre/post sales technical support including commissioning and testing.
• Develop solutions for complex start-up problems.
• Recommend product upgrades to meet customer needs.
• Monitor and resolve recurring complex problems to ensure satisfaction.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues during start-up.
• Produce leads for service and train customers on equipment features.
