Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a senior Field Technician/lead responsible for one or more operational compression jobs, including operation of compressor packages and gas processes. You will mentor staff, troubleshoot advanced equipment, and provide input on budgeting and planning for the area.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, customer relations, and 24/7 coverage with on-call rotations, while maintaining equipment in peak condition and following Kodiak procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s SSE program, plus a minimum of 3 years in an intermediate Field Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities in line with Kodiak’s procedures.
• Acts as informal leader and mentor in the area.
• Participates in all HSE activities, upholds high safety standards.
• Troubleshoots complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical issues.
• Cultivates and maintains customer relationships.
• Communicates needs for staffing and budget planning to Area Manager.
• Ensures availability of parts through Supply Chain for optimal performance.
• Maintains unit readiness and proper reporting.
• Provides guidance to Field Service Technicians and mentors lower levels.
• Supports scheduling and 24/7 coverage, including on-call rotations.
