Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an entry-level technician to assist in running compression jobs and operate compressor packages and equipment. The role supports field operations, learns from experienced technicians, and helps maintain equipment readiness and safety compliance.

Responsibilities include basic troubleshooting, paperwork, and communication with Supply Chain. Candidates should have a high school diploma, basic mechanical aptitude, a valid driver's license, and willingness to work

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred OEM, Trade School or comparable work experience in a related field/industry.
Successful completion of Kodiak's Short Service Employee (SSE) program.

Responsibilities

Assists in running one or more compression jobs and operates compressor packages and equipment.
Provides feedback for development of location operating policies and material forecasts for assigned units.
Troubleshoots basic issues and builds troubleshooting skills on the job and through training.
Maintains compliance with HSE protocols and attends meetings.
Communicates needs with Supply Chain regarding parts and inventory.
Ensures 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment; performs corrective actions with guidance.
Keeps assigned units clean and presentable and completes required reports.
Provides 24/7 coverage and participates in overtime/on-call rotations.
