Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a fully proficient senior field technician to operate compressor packages, gas processes, and rentals. You will mentor peers, troubleshoot complex repairs, and support safety training at the location.

The role requires strong mechanical/electrical skills, deep knowledge of gas systems, and the ability to work in a high-demand, 24/7 environment while maintaining customer relationships and equipment availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Kodiak SSE program and multiple years in field tech roles.
• Deep knowledge of gas processes and compressor mechanics.
• Experience with mechanical/electrical diagnostics and repair.

Responsibilities

• Directs and performs field activities within Kodiak procedures.
• Troubleshoots complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Troubleshoots electrical issues and ensures safety compliance.
• Maintains customer relationships and supports area budgeting.
• Provides 24/7 coverage and participates in on-call rotations.
