Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services in Texas seeks a fully proficient senior field technician responsible for one or more operational compression jobs with direct responsibility for compressor packages, gas processes, and rentals.

You will backfill Lead roles, mentor peers, and provide feedback for local operating policies. The position requires advanced diagnostic and repair skills and a commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Preferred OEM, Trade School and/or 5+ years in related field/industry.
• Successful completion of Kodiak's SSE program.
• CAT, Waukesha, and Ariel certifications preferred.
• Must read, write, speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities aligned with Kodiak goals and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
• Participate in all HSE activities; act as safety role model.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships.
• Ensure 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment.
• Provide input for area budgeting and planning.
• Communicate parts and supplies needs to Supply Chain.
