Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking a Fully proficient Senior Field Technician to lead and mentor a team on compressor packages, gas processes, and rentals. You will ensure operation aligns with Kodiak’s procedures, provide diagnostics, and backfill Area Manager as needed.

Responsibilities include directing daily activities, ensuring safety, maintaining equipment, supporting scheduling, and maintaining 98%+ mechanical availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years related field/industry experience preferred.
• Successful completion of Kodiak’s SSE program, plus 3+ years in an intermediate Field Technician role.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities per Kodiak procedures.
• Acts as informal mentor and leader in the area.
• Lead troubleshooting of complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Provide input to Area Manager for staffing and budgeting.
• Ensure 98%+ mechanical availability of equipment.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and on-call support.
