Job summary

Kodiak Gas Services is seeking an intermediate field technician to operate compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. You will troubleshoot, backfill other field roles, and contribute to location policies and forecasts.

The role requires 3+ years in compression/production, strong electrical troubleshooting, and a proven track record in field operations. Valid driver's license and SSE program completion are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• SSE program completion and field technician experience.
• 3+ years compression/production experience.
• Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of compressor packages and systems.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and performs job activities per Kodiak procedures and goals.
• Troubleshoot complex repairs and major equipment overhauls.
• Builds and maintains customer relationships.
• Analyze parts and inventory to ensure adequate stock for operations.
• Maintain 98% or better mechanical availability of equipment.
• Attend and participate in all HSE meetings and follow HSE protocols.
• Maintain assets in clean, presentable condition.
• Complete required reports and actions per procedures.
• Provide 24/7 coverage and participate in on-call rotations.
• Overtime and weekend/holiday work as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
