Job summary

Sunrun Inc. seeks a Field Performance Technician 3 to perform advanced troubleshooting and complex service diagnosis. The role includes training and developing other team members and requires a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification per state requirements.

The position emphasizes coordinating service schedules, allocating labor, and driving key metrics while ensuring safety and quality in solar installations and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field construction experience required.
• At least 1 year of service technician experience in solar industry.
• PV design or PV electrical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule.
• Allocate labor resources with Foreman, Construction Supervisor and Branch Manager.
• Train and develop Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians.
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team.
• Support onboarding and training of new field performance team members.
• Meet defined goals for KPIs including turnaround time and dispatches.
• Assist with inspections and site audits when assigned.
• Maintain a valid Journeyman License/Electrician Certification as required.
