Job summary

Sunrun is seeking a Field Performance Technician 3 to perform advanced troubleshooting and service diagnosis on solar and storage systems. The role includes training other technicians and requires an electrical journeyman license.

The position involves organizing warranty and service schedules, coordinating with foremen and managers, and leading field team meetings while upholding safety and customer service standards. PV knowledge and strong problem solving are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field construction experience with at least 1 year as a service technician in the solar industry
• High School diploma is required
• PV design or PV electrical experience is preferred

Responsibilities

• Organize, lead, and maintain the warranty and service schedule
• Allocate labor resources with the Electrical Foreman, Construction Supervisor and the Branch Manager to service and warranty projects
• Assist with training and development for Field Service Technicians and Field Communications Technicians
• Lead regular meetings to align and train the local field service team on best practices
• Support the on-boarding and training of new members of the field performance team
• Regularly exceed defined goals for field performance KPIs including turnaround time and dispatches
