Job summary

Encore is seeking a Technical Lead to manage setup and operation of audiovisual systems in hospitality venues, ensuring exceptional service and client satisfaction. You will report to an Operations Manager or Director of Event Technology and lead on-site technical operations.

Ideal candidates bring 2–3+ years of AV experience in hospitality, strong customer service skills, and the ability to mentor colleagues. A valid driver’s license is required and some events may require lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 2-3+ years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
• 2-3+ years of audio-visual experience required.
• A valid driver’s license required for team members who may operate company vehicles.
• Internal training and certification requirements per Encore’s Learning Program must be met within 60 days.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and breakdown intermediate AV equipment accurately and timely.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve problems quickly.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security measures.
• Coordinate with clients and hotel staff to ensure equipment works properly and client needs are met.
• Lead and mentor other technicians to deliver World Class Service.
