Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) in Greenville, SC seeks a Department Manager for Environmental Due Diligence and Compliance to lead technical staff, manage high‑volume projects, and support growth across commercial, industrial, and public sectors.

The ideal candidate has deep regulatory knowledge, substantial ESA experience, and a track record of P&L responsibility, business development, and client relations, with strong communication and leadership skills to drive project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical environmental field is required; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years in geotechnical and/or environmental consulting with leadership experience.
• 3+ years of team leadership or management in a consulting or corporate environment.
• Professional registration (PE, PG, CHMM, or similar) strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Environmental Services Department focusing on due diligence and compliance service lines.
• Supervise and mentor a team of environmental professionals across project types.
• Oversee workload allocation, training, performance reviews, and hiring; drive professional development.
