Job summary

ThinkBAC Consulting LLC is seeking a Sr. Energy Storage Commissioning Engineer to join their EPC team for a fully remote role. You will be responsible for overseeing design, construction, and commissioning of utility-scale battery energy storage system projects, collaborating with various teams and ensuring project success.

The ideal candidate has considerable experience in high-voltage systems and strong communication skills to effectively partner with industry stakeholders. Comprehensive compensation packages and flexible working hours are part of the offer.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in project engineering, EPC, or commissioning in the power industry.
• Hands-on experience with high-voltage utility substations and transmission systems.
• Comfort with AI-enabled tools for engineering productivity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design and commissioning of utility-scale BESS projects.
• Negotiate interconnection agreements with Transmission and Interconnection teams.
• Work directly with utilities and consultants, visiting project sites.
