Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Senior Construction Engineer for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). This fully remote role focuses on engineering oversight, vendor coordination, and commissioning support across EPC projects.

You will lead technical reviews, coordinate EORs and AHJs, and guide warranty resolutions to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable BESS deployments. Ideal candidates have 3–5+ years in electrical/BESS engineering, familiarity with NEC/IEEE standards, and strong communication

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
3–5+ years of progressive electrical engineering, BESS engineering, EPC, or energy storage experience.
Strong understanding of BESS design, integration, commissioning interfaces, and project execution requirements.
Experience coordinating EORs, vendors, consultants, AHJs, owners, and internal teams.

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level engineering oversight during BESS construction, testing, commissioning, energization, and initial operations.
Support RFIs, clarifications, field issue resolution, and design revisions for BESS scope.
Lead technical discussions with project teams, owners, and vendors to resolve complex engineering issues.
Assist warranty investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for BESS equipment and performance.
