Job summary

Associer Intl in the United States (WFH) is seeking an Energy Storage Commissioning Manager to lead on-site and remote commissioning activities for ESS projects. You will schedule, coordinate and supervise testing, ensure battery systems meet specifications, and deliver comprehensive documentation for handover.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical/electronic engineering, or mechanical engineering, or others related to Energy Storage System (ESS).
  • Must have basic Energy Storage System knowledge.
  • Must understand how battery system works and interacts with other equipment of ESS.
  • Must be able to read engineering drawings and specification to understand the purpose and functionality of the battery system.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commercially awareness.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • Leadership and Team working skills.

The Job

Schedule and coordinate commissioning work to tight deadlines.

Manage and coach the commissioning engineers and technicians.

Ensure that battery equipment works to its specification.

Create and carry out test procedures.

Be responsible for the commissioning phase of the project.

Develop relationships with the client to ensure a smooth delivery and handover.

Responsible for providing the project manager and supervisor with Progress updates and raiseconcerns where necessary.

Ensure the commissioning is to the appropriate levels of quality and to standards and manufacturers best practice.

Demonstrate leadership skills to positively influence others to achieve results that are in the best interest of the company.

Produce and review Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all commissioning based activities.

Assist the production of commissioning plans, inspection test plans and training manuals.

Attendance at commissioning meetings with representatives from our clients engineering and operational teams.

Demonstration of commissioned plan to our clients’ representatives to gain plant sign off prior to takeover.

Completion of commissioning records and diaries ensuring that all progress and equipment settings are recorded for the O&M manuals.

Assist the design team by undertaking site visits to gather information for the purposes of tendering or design prior to construction.

Job Requirement:
