Job summary

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of experience in commissioning, start‑up, or project execution within energy, power generation, or large‑scale infrastructure projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, systems) or related discipline; P.Eng. is an asset.
• Proven experience developing and executing commissioning plans across complex, multidisciplinary systems.
• Experience coordinating EPC/EPCM contractors, OEMs, and vendors during commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the comprehensive commissioning plan for the plant, including hot and cold commissioning across all systems.
• Lead end-to-end integration of new energy storage assets from development through commissioning.
• Coordinate with EPC/EPCM contractors to plan, sequence, and execute commissioning activities.
• Build and manage the commissioning schedule with project controls for integration with the overall schedule.
• Oversee testing programs including FAT, SAT, and functional performance testing.
• Ensure regulatory filings and environmental, safety, and grid interconnection requirements are met.
