Job summary

TK Elevator is hiring a Superintendent- New Installation in Memphis, TN to oversee all construction operations, drive timely project completion, and ensure profitability while growing the branch.

The role requires supervising field staff, enforcing safety standards, directing elevator installation activities, and coordinating with owners, contractors, consultants, and architects to deliver turnkey projects.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the construction industry and general management principles, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to write reports, proposals, and business correspondence.
• Strong presentation and communication skills for management and customers.
• Problem solving with data analysis and decision making.
• Ability to interpret technical instructions and manage multiple variables.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction field employees with direction, training, and performance management.
• Administer safety program and conduct safety audits.
• Plan, direct, and prioritize elevator installations and manpower needs; use scheduling tools.
• Review job status using reports to identify risk and opportunity and report issues.
• Manage subcontractor schedule and performance on turnkey projects.
• Build relationships with owners, contractors, elevator consultants, and architects.
• Review and sign off on change orders, purchase orders, and other approvals.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of elevator codes and SOPs.
