Job summary

Qualus is seeking a Distribution Engineering Manager to lead and grow a dedicated engineering team, driving technical strategy and a high-performance culture. You will work with the Engineering Director to oversee engineers, manage client engagements, and ensure cost, quality, and schedule adherence.

The role involves cross-office collaboration, development of staff, and close interaction with business development to maintain a healthy project backlog.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• Experience in Utility Distribution design projects.
• Complex System Expansion or Government Conversion project experience preferred.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering supervision and leadership to meet project demands.
• Develop relationships with senior-level engineering, managers, and executives with clients.
• Coordinate work with distributed engineering offices and cross-train for efficiency.
• Present technical solutions to customers and respond to technical concerns confidently.
