Job summary

Qualus seeks a Distribution Engineering Manager to lead and develop an engineering team, shaping technical strategy and culture. You will oversee engineers, align with the Engineering Director, and drive department goals while managing projects with a limited load.

This role may be based in several US locations and requires strong leadership, client engagement, and project oversight capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from ABET-accredited school.
• Minimum 5 years in management within the energy sector.
• Experience in Utility Distribution design projects.
• PE license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select, train, and manage engineers; set expectations and performance plans.
• Provide technical oversight and ensure QA/QC across projects.
• Develop senior relationships with clients and executives.
• Coordinate work across multifacility engineering offices.
• Collaborate with Business Development to secure backlog.
