Job summary

Intuit is seeking an Assistant General Counsel, Privacy & Data Governance to lead the data governance strategy across data-driven products. You will partner with engineering, privacy, and product teams to ensure compliant, efficient data flows from design through execution.

You will translate complex privacy requirements into scalable governance standards and collaborate with the Privacy Regulatory Compliance team to align product architecture with regulatory expectations.

Qualifications

• J.D. with active U.S. Bar membership; in-house or law firm privacy/regulatory exposure desired.
• Strong expertise in data governance concepts such as classification, lineage, quality, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on data governance strategy across product and engineering teams.
• Translate privacy requirements into practical governance standards and controls.
• Collaborate with Privacy Regulatory Compliance, Product Counsel, and engineering to embed privacy-by-design in new products.
