Intuit, Inc. seeks a Senior Assistant General Counsel – Privacy, Data Innovation & Protection to lead privacy strategy and governance within the Privacy and Responsible Data Strategy, Innovation & Protection team.

Qualificações

• Active bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction; eligible for multi-jurisdictional license to support in-house practice in CA or applicable state.
• JD from an accredited law school; CS/engineering background valued.
• 10+ years in privacy and data protection law; at least 5 years in tech/FinTech.
• Expert knowledge of CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, GLBA, FTC Act 5, FCRA; knowledge of state privacy laws.
• Substantive experience advising on adtech privacy law (consent management, tracking, identity resolution, data clean rooms).
• Experience counseling engineering/product teams on Privacy by Design and lawful bases for processing.
• Experience drafting data processing agreements and data sharing agreements with privacy components.
• Knowledge of two or more privacy-enhancing technologies and regulatory implications.
• Experience building and mentoring privacy professionals in fast-paced environments.
• Ability to analyze data-driven products for global privacy risk and translate to policies.
• Commitment to diversity and team development; IAPP certifications preferred.
• FinTech or financial services experience and CS/engineering background are differentiators.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and manage a geographically dispersed privacy team within a matrixed organization.
• Advise product, engineering, marketing, and data science teams on privacy by design and data governance.
• Own adtech governance framework and first-party data strategy.
• Develop self-service privacy processes, guardrails, and AI model considerations for governance.
• Engage with regulators, industry bodies, and data protection authorities externally.
• Communicate complex privacy issues clearly to executives and cross-functional partners.
