Deckers Brands, the parent company behind HOKA, seeks a Lead Copywriter to transform product innovation and athlete stories into breakthrough campaigns that move people. You’ll develop narratives across channels, shaping how runners, hikers, and movers experience the brand.

You’ll collaborate with designers and creative leaders to craft bold concepts, ensure a consistent HOKA voice, and elevate product stories through digital, retail, and video storytelling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 9+ years in an advertising agency or in-house creative environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Genuine passion for performance and lifestyle brands.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creative leaders to define narrative and copy direction for HOKA campaigns.
• Brainstorm and present bold creative concepts and storytelling that spark emotion and drive impact.
• Translate strategy and briefs into engaging copy concepts and messaging for runners and movers.
• Create stories across digital channels—campaigns, site, social—reflecting HOKA’s voice.
• Craft retail, experiential narratives, and product-focused videos that turn discovery into brand connections.
• Collaborate across teams to elevate athlete and product stories celebrating performance and movement.
• Champion the HOKA voice; ensure communications reflect brand personality and principles.
• Build expertise in HOKA product language and messaging frameworks across channels.
