Deckers Brands’ HOKA unit seeks a Lead Copywriter who transforms product innovation and athlete stories into compelling campaigns. You’ll shape brand voice across channels, crafting narratives that connect with runners and outdoor enthusiasts worldwide.

You’ll lead bold storytelling, translate briefs into messages, and collaborate with designers and creative leaders to deliver authentic, performance-driven content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A strong and varied portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, creative concepting, and compelling storytelling across retail brands and multiple mediums.
• 9+ years in an advertising agency or in-house creative environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, art directors, and creative leaders to define the narrative and copy direction for campaigns and brand initiatives.
• Brainstorm, craft, and present bold creative concepts and storytelling that spark emotion and drive impact.
• Translate strategy and briefs into engaging copy concepts, narratives, and messaging for runners, hikers, and movers.
• Create stories across digital channels—digital campaigns, site updates, social media—reflecting HOKA’s voice.
• Develop athlete and product stories that celebrate performance and the joy of movement.
