Job summary

OBR is seeking a Service Superintendent to oversee cooling tower service, preventative maintenance, and repairs across client sites. You will lead field technicians, coordinate with engineering and project teams, and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

This role requires strong leadership, the ability to manage multiple projects, and willingness to travel to various job sites. A background in cooling tower services and OSHA safety credentials are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of field experience in cooling tower services.
• Experience with Windows-based applications.
• OSHA 10/30 safety certifications and OSHA compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices; stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Interface with clients and oversee all aspects of service projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and train field technicians, Foremen, Leadmen, and crews.
• Conduct safety orientations and enforce OBR/industry standards.
• Manage service materials, equipment rentals, and job supplies.
• Oversee service processes, subcontractor progress, and project schedules.
• Prepare service and time reports; complete job closeout documentation to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor budgets, profitability, and adherence to scope and specifications.
• Lead pre-service meetings and coordinate with supervisory, engineering, and supplier personnel to resolve issues.
• Contribute to bid strategies, project planning, and problem-solving.
• Plan and manage projects ranging from inspections to large, complex jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
