Job summary

OBR Management seeks a Service Superintendent to lead cooling tower service, preventive maintenance, and repairs, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery. You will collaborate with clients, engineering, and management to exceed expectations, while traveling as needed to project locations.

The role requires leadership, field supervision, and strong coordination with cross-functional teams to drive project success and maintain safety standards in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in cooling tower services.
• Knowledge of Windows based applications.
• Knowledge and application of safety standards through OSHA training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices; stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Interface with clients and oversee all aspects of service projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and train field technicians, Foremen, Leadmen, and crews.
• Conduct safety orientations and enforce OSHA standards.
• Manage service materials, equipment rentals, and job supplies.
• Oversee service processes, subcontractor progress, and project schedules.
• Prepare service and time reports; complete job closeout documentation for client satisfaction.
• Monitor budgets, profitability, and adherence to scope and specifications.
• Lead pre-service meetings and coordinate with supervisory, engineering, and supplier personnel to resolve issues.
• Contribute to bid strategies, project planning, and problem-solving.
• Plan and manage projects ranging from inspections to large, complex jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.
• Maintain accessibility by phone and email outside normal hours; address urgent matters when necessary.
