Job summary

OBR Management in the United States seeks a Service Superintendent to oversee cooling tower service, maintenance, and repairs, ensuring safety and top quality. The role involves coordinating with clients, engineering, and management, while leading field crews across multiple sites.

Extensive travel is required depending on project locations; a strong safety culture and hands-on leadership are essential to meet client expectations and project deadlines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in cooling tower services.
• Proficiency with Windows-based applications and OSHA safety standards.
• OSHA 10/30, CPR and First Aid are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee cooling tower service, preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ensure work is safe, efficient, on time and up to quality standards.
• Lead, mentor, and train field technicians and crews.
• Interface with clients and coordinate with engineering and management.
• Manage materials, equipment, subcontractors, and project schedules.
• Prepare reports and ensure client satisfaction; monitor budgets.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

3+ years cooling tower field experience

Windows-based applications

OSHA safety training/experience

Strong leadership and communication

Project coordination and multitasking

Tools

TWIC card

Rigging certification

Forklift certification

Man-lift certification

CPR/First Aid certifications
