Job summary

OBR Management is seeking a Service Superintendent to oversee cooling tower service, preventative maintenance, and repairs across sites in the United States. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and adherence to quality standards while coordinating with engineering, project management, and procurement teams.

The role requires strong leadership, client liaison, and the ability to manage multiple projects with travel to sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of experience in the field, performing cooling tower services.
• Knowledge of Windows based applications.
• Knowledge and application of safety standards through OSHA training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe work practices; stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
• Interface with clients and oversee all aspects of service projects.
• Supervise, mentor, and train field technicians, Foremen, Leadmen, and crews.
• Conduct safety orientations and enforce OBR/industry standards.
• Manage service materials, equipment rentals, and job supplies.
• Oversee service processes, subcontractor progress, and project schedules.
• Prepare service and time reports; complete job closeout documentation to ensure client satisfaction.
• Monitor budgets, profitability, and adherence to scope and specifications.
• Lead pre-service meetings and coordinate with supervisory, engineering, and supplier personnel to resolve issues.
• Contribute to bid strategies, project planning, and problem-solving.
• Plan and manage projects ranging from inspections to large, complex jobs.
• Travel to job sites as required.

Education

High school diploma

OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 certifications

Valid TWIC card

CPR and First Aid certification

Rigging, forklift, and man-lift certification

Satisfactory background check

Proof of U.S. Citizenship

Valid Driver's License
