Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor to join our Corrections team at Crow Wing County Jail in MN. In this role you will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient, high-quality meal service in a fast-paced environment.

You will instruct and train employees in food service and sanitation, ensure on-time meals, maintain portion, appearance and temperature standards, and lead a team to deliver safe, scratch-based cooking.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience supervising a team.
