Job summary

Summit, a brand of Elior North America, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for our corrections team at Crow Wing County Jail, MN. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

In this role you will train employees in food service and sanitation, enforce portion, appearance and temperature standards, and lead a high-volume kitchen with scratch cooking.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a quality, high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
