Summit in Ogden, UT is seeking an experienced cook supervisor to lead a correctional kitchen team. You will coordinate staff to ensure timely meal service, maintain food quality, and uphold sanitation standards in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes training, supervision of a team, and delivering consistent, high-quality meals for inmates at a correctional facility. A strong background in high-volume, scratch cooking is required.

Qualifications

• At least one year's prior culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Nice-to-haves: Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portions, appearance and temperature for all food items are appropriate and of high quality.
