Summit, a division of Elior North America, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor to join our correctional facility kitchen team in Gladwin, MI. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you’ll train employees in food service and sanitation, ensure meals begin on time, and monitor portion, appearance, and temperature. Candidates should have prior supervisory kitchen experience.

Qualifikationen

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to perform multiple tasks at once.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Food Handlers certification is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
