Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced full-time cook supervisor for a correctional facility kitchen in Pattonsburg, MO. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations, proper food preparation, and adherence to standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least one year of culinary experience in high-volume settings, strong leadership, and a focus on scratch cooking. Supervisory experience is essential, with additional certification a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Complete knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team.
• Nice-to-have: Food Handlers certification.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
