Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Orleans Parish Prison in New Orleans, LA. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high‑quality, scratch‑cooked meals in a fast-paced correctional environment.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of high‑volume culinary experience, strong leadership and meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety and team training. This is a full‑time onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume, scratch cooking environment.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience supervising a team and providing customer service.
• Food Handlers certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train staff in food service and sanitation; ensure meals start on time and meet quality standards.
