Job summary

Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for our Ogden, UT correctional team. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficient service, strict standards, and on-time meals in a fast-paced setting.

The role requires at least one year of scratch-cooking experience, strong culinary knowledge, and demonstrated ability to lead a team while delivering friendly service. Onsite position with comprehensive benefits and a competitive hourly wage.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high‑volume, quality establishment with emphasis on scratch cooking.
• Proven knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing friendly, helpful service.
• Food Handlers certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meal services begin on time, and ensuring that portion, appearance and temperature for all food items is appropriate and of high quality.
