Job summary

Summit seeks an experienced cook supervisor to join our correctional facility kitchen team in Eagle Pass, TX. You will coordinate and supervise staff to ensure efficiency and adherence to established standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include instructing and training employees in food service and sanitation, ensuring timely meal service and quality portions and temperatures, while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Must-have culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supervising a team and providing staff training.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation.
• Ensure meal services begin on time and that portions, appearance, and temperatures meet high quality standards.
