Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Cook to join our Culinary team at Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort on Florida's Paradise Coast. You will assist in production and fabrication of food for kitchen prep, cafeterias, banquets, dining rooms, and fine dining, under the guidance of the Chef.

Ideal candidates have prior professional kitchen experience, a passion for the culinary arts, and a willingness to learn. You must be able to work day/night shifts.

Qualifications

• Active Food handler’s certification or ability to obtain it.
• Willing to work day, night, and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Able to work independently.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
• Minimum age 21 years.

Responsibilities

• Develop knowledge and skills in cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry).
• Experience using knives and various kitchen equipment.
• Reach and recreate recipes.
• Maintain consistency in all food preparation.
• Minimize food waste through cross-utilization.
• Work with a world-class culinary team.
• Create workstations with needed ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat).
• Keep kitchen sanitized and orderly.
• Store all food and items properly.
• Be responsible for the quality of ingredients.
