Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Prep Cook to join our vibrant culinary team at the Signia Hilton Naples Grande Beach Resort in Florida. You will assist the culinary leadership team, prep and prepare foods, and ensure quality and efficiency in daily kitchen operations.

Ideal candidates are 21+ with a strong work ethic, ready to learn, and capable of standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds. Growth opportunities exist within a dynamic, world-class property.

Qualifications

• Active Food handler’s certification required or ability to obtain it.
• Willingness to work a variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Energetic personality with a passion for culinary arts.

Responsibilities

• Support culinary team in preparation and fabrication of food for kitchen, cafeteria, banquets and dining rooms.
• Read and recreate recipes; maintain consistency in all food preparation.
• Prepare cold items, salads, simple sides and appetizers.
• Prepare cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables and meats.
• Assist with inventory to ensure proper par and stock levels.
• Minimise food waste through cross-utilisation; keep workstations stocked and clean.
• Learn from a world-class culinary team and contribute to a sanitized kitchen environment.
