We are seeking a passionate Cook to join our Culinary team at Naples Grande Beach Resort.

Qualifications

2–3 years previous culinary experience in a professional kitchen.
Active Food handler’s certification or the ability to get it.
Willing to work day/night and weekend shifts.
Strong organizational skills.
Able to work independently and stand for long periods.
Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
Energetic personality and desire to exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

Develop knowledge of cooking procedures (grill, sauté, fry).
Experience with knives and kitchen equipment.
Read and recreate recipes.
Maintain consistency in all food preparation.
Minimize food waste through cross utilization.
Work with a world-class culinary team.
Set up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment.
Prepare ingredients for cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat).
Keep a sanitized and orderly kitchen.
Ensure proper storage of food and other items.
Responsible for the quality of ingredients.
