Summit is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for our correctional facility kitchen in Braithwaite, LA. You will coordinate and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient operations and adherence to high standards in a fast-paced environment.

You will train employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensure meals begin on time, and guarantee proper portion, appearance, and temperature of every item while maintaining safety and security requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Strong knowledge of culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Ability to train staff and multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Instruct and train staff in all aspects of food service and sanitation.
