Job summary

Invited is seeking a Cook 3 to lead food preparation, production, and presentation in a high-volume kitchen. You will manage setup, sanitation, and workstation organization while mentoring Cook 1 and Cook 2 team members and collaborating with leadership to uphold culinary standards.

The senior role requires advanced cooking skills, leadership, and the ability to thrive under pressure. You will participate in menu planning and ensure the delivery of high-quality meals for members and guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in the kitchen environment.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, execution of daily prep, and organization of workstation.
• Prepare and store all food items for station per Invited standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and consistent preparation and presentation of menu items.
• Prepare or assist in preparing complete meals including soups, meats, gravies, vegetables, and desserts.
• Receive and store goods purchased by kitchen as requested.
• Oversee expediting to ensure timely delivery and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and testing products.
• Interact professionally with members and guests and handle special requests.
