Job summary

Invited is seeking a skilled Cook 3 to lead food preparation, production, and presentation in a fast-paced kitchen. You will set up your workstation, supervise junior cooks, and ensure high standards of quality and sanitation.

The role requires advanced culinary skills, leadership, and the ability to manage high-stress periods while maintaining exceptional service. You will collaborate with the kitchen leadership, assist in menu planning, and mentor Cook 1 and Cook 2 teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 4+ years kitchen experience.
• Valid Food Handler Certifications as required by state and city regulations.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work under pressure in high-volume kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Set up and organize workstation for daily prep and service.
• Prepare and store all food items for your station, following Invited standards.
• Maintain proper cooking techniques and presentation of daily specials and menu items.
• Prepare and assist in completing meals, including soups, meats, vegetables, desserts, and baked goods.
• Oversee expediting to ensure timely delivery with quality and portion control.
