Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement leader to drive data‑driven change across multiple operations. You will supervise CI engineering and quality staff, develop strategy with KPIs, and mentor teams to apply Lean, PDCA and data analytics for safety, quality and cost improvements.

You will lead Kaizen events, value stream mapping and cross-functional projects, interfacing with senior management and guiding start-ups and expansions within a pragmatic, results‑oriented culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management is required.
• Nine+ years in distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, transportation or logistics preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma and related process improvement expertise required.
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, CAD tools, and WMS/LM systems.
• Advanced MS Office skills: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio; Power BI/Tableau preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals and manage performance.
• Lead strategy development, KPI action plans and site assessments.
• Coach owners to apply Lean, data analysis and engineering methods for excellence.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events and track transformational value.
• Oversee QA, regulatory compliance and start-up or expansion activities.
• Coordinate cross-functional CI projects from initiation to sustained results.
