Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a senior Continuous Improvement Manager to drive data-driven CI, engineering, and automation across multiple operations. The role interfaces with senior management and oversees CI resources to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth.

Responsibilities include strategy development, KPI action plans, training and mentoring, and leading cross-functional CI projects across customer accounts. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Master's degree in a related field preferred.
• Six Sigma/Lean or related certification is a plus.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to lead complex, cross-functional CI projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of CI engineering and quality professionals and manage performance.
• Lead development and execution of CI strategy, KPIs, and action plans.
• Provide training, coaching, and mentoring on lean methods and data analysis.
• Develop competency in engineering methods, data analytics, and lean tools.
• Facilitate Value Stream Maps and Kaizen events across sites and accounts.
• Track progress and value of transformational CI activities and projects.
