Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI resources across multiple operations. You will drive data-driven CI/Engineering/Automation efforts to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth, interfacing with employees at all levels.

Reports to CI Director or Sr. CI Manager and aligns with Operations leadership. The role requires strong coaching, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to achieve dramatic improvements in key metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management required.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry required.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills with emphasis on Access, Excel and PowerPoint & Visio expert required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals.
• Lead strategy development, scorecarding, and KPI action plans across sites.
• Provide training and coaching on Lean methods, PDCA, and data analysis to drive operational excellence.
• Develop competencies in engineering methods, data analytics, Lean tools, and quality standards.
