Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to lead CI across multiple operations, driving data‑driven improvements in safety, quality, delivery, cost and growth.

You will oversee CI engineers and quality professionals, mentor teams, and partner with senior leadership to set strategy and KPI action plans. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Supply Chain Management.
• Nine (9) years or more in the Distribution, Warehousing and/or Manufacturing, Transportation, Supply Chain Logistics industry.
• Proficiency with Power BI/Tableau and SQL for data analysis.
• Experience with Lean tools: PDCA, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, 5S/Workplace Organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of continuous improvement engineering and quality professionals.
• Lead hiring decisions and manage performance.
• Manage multiple and complex supply chain projects.
• Interact with Senior Management and/or customers.
• Develop and execute strategy, scorecards, and KPI action plans.
• Conduct assessments of critical site and business needs.
• Deliver continuous improvement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Coach teams to apply engineering, data analysis, and Lean methods for operational excellence.
• Support startups, retrofits, and expansions including pricing inputs and certifications.
• Develop advanced competency in engineering methods, data analysis, Lean tools, and quality standards.
