Job summary

Gilbane Building Company in Charlotte, NC seeks a Lead Superintendent to manage all field operations on a $5-$50M project. The role is on-site daily and central to delivering projects safely and on schedule.

You will lead trade contractors, coordinate with the project team, and uphold Gilbane's standards while mentoring field engineers and superintendents throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management is required.
• 7–12 years leading a component of work or whole project on a $30M+ commercial/industrial project.
• OSHA 30-hour certified; STS-C Certification; First Aid/CPR/AED; Stop the Bleed training.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day coordination of trade contractors and subcontractors to meet schedule.
• Maintains project schedule, safety, and quality controls.
• Creates and updates the project plan; communicates changes to team and trades.
• Plans jobsite logistics and ensures permits and documents are in order.
• Mentors field engineers and superintendents; conducts regular meetings.
